Do you want to learn new ways to care for your mental health and well-being?

Are you looking for a supportive community where you can grow, connect, and heal together?

Would you like to rediscover your strengths and build confidence on your recovery journey?

The Recovery College at HF Care feels like a second home to many. Some volunteer to support others, while others join our groups and courses.

Recovery is about building a meaningful life while living with or moving beyond mental health challenges. It is not only about symptom management or treatment, but about strengths, hope, choice, and self-determination.

Our Recovery College is a place where people learn together about mental health and wellbeing, and offers a range of workshops and courses that support mental health education and personal growth. Rooted in the CHIME recovery principles, our programs provide tools and opportunities for people to flourish on their recovery journey.

  • Connection– Feeling part of a community
  • Hope & Optimism – Believing in the possibility of a better future
  • Identity – Understanding and valuing yourself
  • Meaning – Discovering a sense of purpose
  • Empowerment – Building confidence and taking charge of your recovery

Different ways to heal, learn, and grow are offered through social activities, skill-building workshops, nature exploration, vocational-related training, peer support, and help with work and life skills.

Our Recovery College consists of:

  • The Recovery College – Learn new skills and take part in activities that support your personal recovery.
  • Peer Support Groups – Connect with others going through a similar journey for guidance and encouragement.
  • Family Support Groups – Help and resources for families to support their loved ones’ recovery.
